About Dr. Light

H. Wayne Light, PhD has more than 30 years of experience as a psychologist in private practice and as a school psychologist.

He has co-authored “Beyond Retention” and other publications. He has received numerous awards, including being selected by the California Association of School Psychologists as “Outstanding School Psychologist in California, Region II.” Dr. Light has lectured and conducted many workshops throughout the United States, The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium; he is listed in Who’s Who, The Compendium, and is a member of the National Honor Society of Psychologists (Psi Chi). For more than ten years, Dr. Light was the Chief Oral Examiner for the Educational Psychologist License Board (BBSE) in California. Dr. Light is currently employed as a school psychologist for the Turlock Unified School District in Central California.
